Iowa Government Performance Strategy Academy

CSI organized a one-day academy for senior staff and key decision makers from the Governor's Office, the state Budget Office, the Board of Regents, and relevant Iowa agencies. Non-CSI experts attended from the Center for American Progress, Pew Center on the States, University of Wisconsin, and CommunicationWorks. The event also featured state practitioners from Colorado, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio to assist Iowa policymakers with the implementation of efficiency and cost savings reforms in several key areas related to Executive Order 20 signed by Governor Culver in December 2009 and Senate File 2088 signed by Governor Culver in March
2010.
