At the request of the Culver administration, CSI organized a Policy Briefing, as a follow up to the October 10, 2007 Iowa Strategy Academy on Clean Energy and Energy Efficiencyat Drake University. Participants included the Governor’s Policy Director and the Director of the Iowa Office of Energy Independence and her top level staff. CSI brought experts from ACEEE, CNT, and REPP to the Phone Briefing, which focused on implementation strategies in Energy Efficiency/Energy Conservation, advice on how best to interact with the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator, and maximizing use of federal transportation and energy funding.
